Simplify Sunday: Photo Decluttering Edition
Sharing the system I'll be following to declutter the 60K pictures on my phone
It’s time. Time to go through the staggering number of photos on my phone and reclaim the space. Anyone else?!
For the last year or so my phone has been periodically been giving me the dreaded “storage full” message. And every time, I delete apps that I don’t use often until I can take photos again. Repeat over and over again.
It’s gotten to the point that I really need to take care of it. I hate missing opportunities to take photos because my storage is full and I don’t like not being able to locate photos quickly because I have to sort through tons of duplicates.
Just the thought of going through 59,308 photos is beyond overwhelming to me. However, I know that for my brain, if I have a checklist and a loose plan, I’d be way more likely to get it done! So I came up with a few different methods (and corresponding printables!) that I’ll share below in more detail.
This post is for paid subscribers, BUT I really want to make what I share accessible—so I temporarily lowered the price of the annual subscription! It’s only $30 (down from $50!) for an entire year. I hope that this will be helpful for you if you are paying $5 monthly or are a free subscriber who’d like to upgrade. (Reminder: if you become a paid subscriber you have access to exclusive posts like this one, all of the archives (lots of printables!), and it helps keep Let’s Live and Learn ad free. Thank you so much for your support ❤️
